I do agree with Hobbes here. Though death is something that will come. But I would like to stave it off for as long as possible. Our society is too primitive to affect it much. No neural storage, not body replication possible with implantation. No longevity extensions for our bodies…
I’ve done this sort of thing, riding down a long, fairly steep snowy hillside in Moonlight. Then going back and discovering I had just gone under a strand of barbed wire!
To be perfectly honest, I’m not interested in living forever. (At least not on earth!) I’d rather get out while the gettin’ out is good; I don’t want to be bedridden, drooling, incontinent . . .
