I agree, good for you, Cathy! I wish my mom took better care of herself, so we could have her around longer. But she’s stubborn and says no, so it’s a struggle. Anyway, we love her lots and I’m glad she’s still around! Happy Mother’s Day, Mom and all the other moms who come around here today!Good morning, everyone! Hope you all are having a wonderful day! I’ve had breakfast in bed and have played a game with my girls. Later we’ll go see a movie and go out to dinner. Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers here – and those who have mothers too.
There is a link to a cute Mother’s Day video on the Frog Applause Blog but for those of you who may not read Frog Applause I thought I would give the link here. Cute movie link
It was made by one of my employees for his wife as a Mother’s Day gift last year. It is rather special especially considering that the stars were 4 and 6 years old at the time. He tells me that he and his sons are working on another project this year but missed the deadline.

Guilt from daughter to mom? Wow, I didn’t think that was possible. “The mother’s curse” is always the other way around. And mom admitting a fault too? She’s gonna have nightmares all night. Poor dear. Self-inflicted, but still . . .

We were out with GWU & GU student friends whose folks were in the area for the day. We surprised four sets of parents with a huge buffet that we all prepared Friday, yesterday and today. Aaron was adopted by two and two took me. Ahhhhh, life is good. LMB did a little song and dance that impressed everyone. And he didn’t yak on anyone’s shoes, so there you go.

For myself, we went to a Mother’s Day folk concert on Friday (Claudia Schmidt & Sally Rogers), out to Brunch this afternoon, and Starbucks for desert tonight. Also got a card from the four furballs that let me live in their house. It’s good enough for me!!
