Cathy would be buying new clothes right up to day of the trip. Ever notice how they are few, if any, clothing stores in airports. There would be too many missed flights. :)
Why is she taking work clothes on her vacation trip? Isn’t the purpose to get away from it all? Like JLChi, I usually do laundry up until the day before and then the day before and on “travel day”, I wear clothes that I don’t care about and that’s all the dirty clothes that I have then. Plus this makes it seem like she doesn’t have many extra clothes, which we ALL know isn’t true, haha.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Monday! Have a great day, all!
Cathy’s closet is jam-packed full of clothes from one end to the other. Just how long is she going to be gone on her trip, anyhow? Unless every single one of her business suits are at the dry cleaners right now (or she plans on taking them with her on vacation too), I find it extremely difficult to believe that she doesn’t have one solitary thing hanging in her closet that she can wear to work today. But, then, this IS Cathy we’re talking about so I guess pretty much anything is possible where our favorite little whack-a-doodle is concerned! ;-)

Hi, rgcviper! :-)

Hello and Happy Monday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope you all had a really great weekend and a very nice day today too. ♥
Just how many suitcases full of clothes is she taking anyway? We try to figure in advance just how many sets of clothes we need for the destination and our length of stay. Sometimes this adds up to more than we want to pack – like needing warm and cold weather clothes for our cruise to Alaska last month. So, check, and yes, our ship had a laundry available for passengers at a reasonable cost. We then packed half the clothes we would need and did a laundry on board. We do that now when staying on Disney properties. The rooms we usually get have a washer and dryer in the room and if not, there is always a central laundry available for guests.
Speaking of laundry, just unpacked a lot of wood smoke smelling clothing from the weekend. Had a great time this year and already looking forward to next year.
I’ve done that…partly because I like to keep all my options open until the last minute when I’m packing. But I don’t take work clothes, so I could certainly go to the office, dressed.

Actually, I myself am in the process of packing for a trip and this strip makes perfect sense to me :)

She is just making sure they will be clean when she gets back from vacation. I hate leaving behind dirty clothes.

I always do laundry right before I leave for a trip. It’s more about having clean sheets and towels in place for when I return.

So I guess that leaves her robe and her swimsuit to wear before the trip? If so, AACK …
