The (un)Comfortable Pew

Good thing it’s December. But vinyl in any temperature is unpleasant.

They have cushions?

Forever, my mother wanted a leather couch. She finally got one and hated it. Not comfortable at all. So it went into an anteroom and replaced with a good comfy cloth one. The leather one was for show only.

Is it just me, or does it look like the guy in the second pew isn’t wearing any pants?!!!

Ah, finally. Bleeb should have an excellent time “observing” in such a target rich environment.

Oh, and congratulations, Mr. McP. Enjoy.

Nice to think about in December, though.

Quite a sticky situation

Cushions in a church? What keeps people awake??

Shhhhhh! McPherson and Bleeb are back!

Everybody straighten up and act like nothin’ was goin’ on!

Ahhh, I love the smell of hot plastic in the morning! Know what it smells like – stick-to-me!

This would work better with vinyl bench seats in cars and trucks in Florida. If you have never experienced that, it’s something to add to your list of things to be thankful for. If you have, you can be thankful that they are pretty much a thing of the past.

They went with vinyl because the leather cushions would go over like a “fart” in church.

And the fart sound when someone moves during the sermon…

Thank God it’s not that hot……

The good news is you may find a little Loose Change under them. God works in mysterious ways.

John, whatever made you think of hot, sticky, vinyl cushions in December?

Solid wooden pews in ours, we have to bring our own cushions…

No cushions in our church, just hard wood pews!

I can understand this happening to Ziggy, but not to anyone who actually is wearing pants (of any sort)!

Sorry folks for the indelible image left in your brains, but this wasn’t of my creation!

And now they have to go sit in their cars with searingly hot vinyl seats. I always look for light colored leather seats. Failing that, light colored seat covers. I lived in South Carolina for too many years to not learn that lesson.

Why are they sticking to only ladies?

Awww, I was hoping that Bleeb would have a tiny cushion stuck to him!

Oh well…at least she doesn’t have tp stuck to her shoe!
