I thought the punch line was that Santa comes but once a year.

Well, if it is a choice between a party trying to do something and a party that is trying to do nothing, and is somehow proud of that, I think I’ll take the guys who are at least trying to make things better, rather than sit around on their fat sex scandal ridden butts and whine that they lost the last election

Yeah. The GOP wingnuts are sure good at whining.

YOU guys screwed up the country. YOU guys sunk us into the largest debt in history. YOU guys got us into two wars which you then botched. YOU guys didn’t stop al-Qaeda or nail bin Laden. YOU guys put millions of Americans out of work and hundreds of thousands of American homeowners out on the streets. YOU guys tortured prisoners of war and greenlighted the torture of American POWs by the bad guys. YOUR politicians whined and moaned about abortion, gay marriage and morality while keeping their own mistresses on the side.

What the US really needs the Republicans to do now is get out of the way, sit down and shut up.

Ravenwing The largest debt this country has seen has been since Jan2009. Did the GOP get us into Vietnam and kill 58,000 Americans to end Communism (Ronald Regan ended communism)? Are you saying the GOP forced personal debt up? Are you saying the GOP forced people to renege on their mortgage commitments?Are you saying our brave US soldiers haven’t been tortured for decades?Are you saying that politicians of every stripe aren’t immoral?

Perhaps you are right (no pun intended). We should go to a one party system It worked so well in Eastern Europe.
