Alex, quite possibly you’re on to something! I’ve long forgiven you for hosting the hippies during Vietnam, or were they somebody else, ’cause all of ’em seemed to still be here…But you folk are SO damn nice, and your country is so beautiful… Who knows, maybe we should try it.
Or merge, and become the green tea party; healthier for you. Why do I never get invited to any of these parties? Does my political neutrality put people off?
yes the same party with two branches, one more crazy than the other. lol. the Tea Party was funded by Koch Bros, through Dick Armey of Texas, to move the party/keep the Right righ, t of Hitler. lol.
money talk and Americans believe in money even more than God. Money is their God. and American are so easy to lie to.
which is how we got Reagan and his royal road to ruin.
like George Carlin said, "to believe in the American Dream, you have to be asleep.
Just the thought of all that makes me want to have a breakdown and hide in the corner under a red-and-blue-checked blanket!
AAARRRGGGHHH!!!<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>I’ve worn out the mute button on my remote and don’t get me started on the robo-calls and the pollsters ! As a registered Independent voter, I get it from both sides.I swear, I’m contemplating moving to Canada for the next few weeks !
Comments remind me of a discussion I had with a liberal friend a couple of years ago. I mentioned there were things wrong with both parties and proceeded to say some things I disliked with the Republicans, my friend then stated the things he disliked about the Republicans. This taught me what fair and balanced means to a liberal.
At least we have an “Open” & fully transparent leadership. Just ask the Atty Gen, oh oh better not, you’ll get shot with one of his Fast & Furious guns.
The real reason third parties don’t work in America is because America is, at its roots, an adolescent society—and like most adolescents, we tend to think in extremes with no middle ground. Things are either black or white, right or wrong, yes or no…and left or right..We spout about “freedom of choice” a lot here in America—but give the average American more than two choices and their brain explodes.
“All you Leftie Loons apparently don’t seem to realize that Wiley just identified himself as someone that distrusts ALL government, not the Right or Left but ALL of it! Your ugly asinine comments about the Tea Party and FOX News just make you look all the more absurd.” Actually, most liberals are very much aware that all American politics are bought and paid for, but that in no way invalidates what are obvious observations about certain media and political interest groups.
“During the campaign in 2008 Obama said he wanted a national ploice force as well euiped as the military and only answerable to him.” I do believe I missed that; do you have a reference? I mean, besides Fox News, or its ilk.
Three+ Parties in Congress would require representatives to negotiate agreements. Those that cannot reach out would be considered a liability by voters. No more Majority Party. Additionally, each state gets only One Senator. The other 50 Senators would be assigned to all the National Parties by proportion of Registered Voters. The Ross Perot candidacy was a disaster for Republican and Ross Perot ideas. Working together is a good idea.
As liberal as I am, I’m really sick of those who still use the term “teabaggers”. It was funny once. Now you’re just acting like children who discovered a new naughty word. Grow up. Using that term today just makes you sound ignorant and gives liberals a bad name.
There’s this thing called “the Internet”. I’m sure you’re at least somewhat familiar with it. Did you know that in addition to the insane conspiracy theories that dribble onto the keyboards of under-medicated insane asylum residents, you can find actual facts that don’t make you sound like a paranoid schizophrenic that should take his medicine to make the voices go away.
They were originally a kind of third party but got overtaken by far-right fanatics to the point where they’re becoming a joke. A joke that stops being funny when you realise they actually get into power.
A bit hard to buy up a party that only takes money from real live people and a $1,000 cap on that. Vote Green and if we succeed, you will actually be able to vote for president instead of hoping the 534 anonymous elites may cast the real votes to your liking.
