Wonder how many more times Phil has to threaten to kill his son before Spacy starts to take him seriously.

RayC has got it right, phrase it how you will. Even Tuesday has become a repetition day.

I’ve got it on the Concert Hall now. There are two versions to confuse readers, in an attempt to conceal the “paste up” work. ;) One, has cross-hatching for the side walk with two background buildings one right, one left (like todays). The other (yesterday’s) the background is chock-a-block “full” of buildings and there’s a slabbed side walk.

I’m guessing the son’s gonna die, but the big twist is that it’ll turn out that, despite the repeated threats, somebody other than Maestro is the killer.

They ought to just post the comments section as it is much more entertaining then the actual strip! You guys rock! The only thing that would make this better is the pig on wheels to return!!!

DT needs to investigate further, calm the mastroe down, find the son, and see why the priceless instruterment got sold? This should take a long time.

Concert hall three days in a row. It’s becoming the most interesting character in the strip.

And yes, today’s concert hall panel is an exact duplicate (but for the lack of color) of Sunday’s, right down to the blacked-out squares of the giant crossword puzzles that inexplicably flank the building.

Yesterday’s concert hall panel is quite a bit different, to the point where it seems to be another building entirely.

Bring back the pig-on-wheels! It’s the only thing that makes sense in this strip!

Well, so far this story is moving along better than the previous one…though that is not saying much. I don’t know, I think I’ve pretty much given up on Dick Tracy.

The reason that the location keeps changing, is that we have a concert hall on wheels here. It’s moving back and forth between the two spots. I think the pig on wheels still rules, but I’m beginning to like the CHOW (Concert Hall on Wheels) also.

It’s been a long time complaint about Locher’s Dick Tracy art work. He’s thought of as the comic strip world’s version of Louisa May Alcott. She, famous for writing ”Little Women”. He’s become renoun for drawing little hands and fingers in comic strips !

OK, what exactly is going on in the second panel? Is Tracy kneeling before the Godfather, ready to kiss his knuckles? Did the conductor suddenly leap onto a nearby chair? Is the monkey sitting on his shoulder?

You’ve read the posts above. “CHOW” as RayC calls it appears to be taking on it’s own distinctive personality.

You have the ”know how”. Here’s a challenge. How about an illustration of the “Pig on Wheels” standing in front a “CHOW” background ?

Can it be done ? Not only would Aunt Hosanna be proud of you, but you may be put up for the 2010 “John Locher Memorial Award”. ! ;)

Yep ! I know it’s really for College Cartoonists, but in your case they might just make an “exception”. After all, it creatively mimmicks Dad’s work

Sydney Phillips that’s a bit complicated for me. We need someone who’s very accomplished at photo edit. In order to insert a picture in the comments, it has to be on a website so that I can copy the URL. I don’t have a website. I acn copy the CHOW, but I couldn’t insert it in the comments.

I had the pig posted last night, but I see that it’s been taken down. It’s pretty offensive, I guess…….

I no longer love the Pig on Wheels. I have transferred my affections to the Anti-Gravity Scarf. However, if the Pig on Wheels were to appear wearing the Anti-Gravity Scarf … :>
