barticle35 picked it up immediately! Cris Ch*endo on Dec 31, *Shendo today. Small error and understandable if it happens occasionally But here it’s a HABIT that comes at you with Bart Simpson speed.

It really reflects an ongoing lack of “focus”. Carelessness ! Given the creative responsibility, he’s caught out indulging this laissez-faire attitude repeatedly.. We saw laughable contradictions and similar reversals in the last story and more are just up ahead.

He has another job, so enough attention is not given to this one. Contradictions arise because when he sits down to write each morning he hasn’t given a thought to what’s going to happen and has “forgotten” most of what happened yesterday.

And a don’t care attitude revealed if asked to comment, that … “it’s just a comic strip”.

So daily, we’re bombarded the adventures of Dick Tracy as bumbled out by an artistic version of Homer Simpson.

Looks like Karl Malden’s back . Thought he died. All he needs to say in the last panel is, “Don’t leave home without it.”

Did this story skip back a week? I thought Half Note wrapped the Stradivarius and gave the doctor’s bag of money to Chris Chendo (Shendo?) last week. Now Telly has a name and the violin and is making arrangements to have it converted. At the currrent rate, this story will never end… “The Neverending Story”!
