Wow! I just realizedâŚmy first # 1! I know this is not gonna happen, but I like the idea of Belle, Broadway, Cinnamon, and Pirahna all meeting up, Belle and Knight eyeing each otherâŚ..and then suddenly knowingly, sharing the same thought. Then Belle turns and shoots Broadway, hands the gun to Cinnamon who does the same to Pirahna, and the new twosome then go off to rob a jewelry store or bank together, lol.
To whom could Sam be referring? If it is indeed Cinnamon Knight, then there just might be some hope for Black Piranha. And, yes, VistaBill, I agree: that is a spectacular kitchen the Tracyâs have!
Love seeing Tracy making a big old pot of chili. Shows heâs human. Looks like itâs going to have to wait, though. And yeah, I wish I had a kitchen like that. He and Tess must be makinâ the big bucks.
As a detective, shouldnât Sam be in an unmarked? Detectives usually get inexpensive âpeople haulerâ sedans, rather than police package cars, as they donât really need the burliness of the patrol force vehicles.
Chumbawambaâs newer stuff is better, but I can see how Dick âIâve survived more murder attempts than youâve had hot breakfastsâ Tracy would identify with that chorus.
Its a sad day in the USA . Talking bout yesterday and well today too. Canât help it but my heart goes out to the hurt and killed. Babies! what were they thinking?
Brad and Lisa look good, Mikey. I agree with the others on you following your talent. I am glad you got back in it. You make Comments all the more fun. I am originally from the buffalo area and remember trips over the river before all the barbed wire intrigue they have now. Havenât been to Canada since 2000. Wont be getting a passport just to go to Canada. ^^We can all thank GW Bush, for THAT one⌠and I agree, paying over $100 for a passport, just to go to the USA is not within my means

Say, Iâve been meaning to ask: How do you insert graphic like that?^^You need to get a photobucket account, post your pics there, then you copy the code, for the Gocomics forums, use the HTML code. Then, after you copy the code, which will look something like this:
Just paste it in your typing box, and when you submit, youâll have a pic inserted
@Gweedo Murray Just making law after law doesnât work if they are not enforced and people just get endless probations. Jail should be hard for repeat customers. âWhen guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have gunsâ
^^And yet, the countries with the strictest gun control laws (Canada, Japan & Britain), have the lowest murder rates, per capita, in the so-called civilised World (Another reason I love being a Canadian)
I sure hope Samâs talking about a call from Cinnamon Knight â maybe he and BP will survive the ârobbery.â(And David goes on to the police academy, and they become two of those endless background characters who reappear â like Frizzletop and her husband did.)
Once the Cinnamon Knight, Piranha, Belle, Broadway, Dick and Sam all show up, they will be confronted by . . . The Cumin Conqueror, and the art and plotline will become even spicier.
I posted a pic of Piggy Butcher the other day and didnât realize there were so many Piggy fans (four people emailed me about it). Hereâs another pic of Piggy, this time cavorting with Mrs. Chin Chillar. I picked this one because Mrs. CC (aka Notta Fallar) is supposed to make a reappearance this spring.
Youâre replying to Gweedo Murrayâs comment: I am originally from the buffalo area^^I used to go over to watch my Habs meet the Sabres at the old âAudâ; when the Sabres moved to the new place, they upped the ticket prices by over 100%, and I never went back since
Uh oh, itâs after 12:30am CT, and Sundayâs strip isnât posted yet. Iâm having a sick feeling that weâre headed for another missing Sunday. Hope Iâm wrong.
Just read todayâs strip over at the Oregonian.Really good, and not what Iâd expected.(But then, when was I ever able to predict what Mike and Joe were up to?)
I love todayâs strip! Hope they get it posted here soon. First, itâs good to see Honeymoon again, something I did not expect. (Is she the âfriendâ who called Dick yesterday??) Second, Belle is looking very fine today! And third, it seems weâre set up for a brief detour from the Black Piranha story (like Belle says, till after Christmas). Plus, judging from the moon in the first panel and Juniorâs reactions in the last two, I have a feeling it has something to do with a certain curvaceous cutie we all know and love, aka the Alien Hottie!!!
Iâm surprised by the abrupt change of story. Itâs as if this strip (and the focus on Moon Maid) were inserted into the sequence. No complaint about todayâs strip, though.Great character development all around.Spectacular art as always â especially Shaneâs colors in that last panel.
Much appreciation for the strip Willy007. I knew I could count on someone here! As for Junior, Iâm not sure this is going to be a very Merry Christmas.
Ooh I like this convergence. A bunch of pretend costumed villains and heroes, set up for a big and confusing confrontationâŚand then comes Moon Maid, the real deal, to save the day!
Belle looks kind of drunk today⌠and sheâs actually showing some compassion for her victims here, what next, Broadway becomes a Bhuddist and gives up his life of crime? lolOne has to wonder why sheâs with that guy to begin with, Father complex, I suppose. It looks as if Honeymoon will finally meet this imposter Mother of hers; or will she turn out to be the real thing? (Inquiring minds want to know)
Intro (skip if youâve already read any of the previous intros):
Hello, greetings, casual readers of past Tracy stories. Iâm here because Iâm on 2 missions. The first is something Iâve never done before, read each Tracy story by Mike Curtis (or his occasional guest writer) in one sitting each. I feel his stories are worth it. IMHO, Curtis is by far the best post-Gould writer this strip has ever had, and weâre all lucky to have him.
My second mission is to provide an immediately useful Featured Comment whenever needed. My 3 friends below will reply to me. You can read their replies if you like, but their only real purpose is to bump up this comment to the Featured Comment.
There are 2 basic types of immediately useful Featured Comments: the first type is to provide you with a Mumblespeak translator when needed. The other type (this type) is anytime that dayâs strip quotes a real song. I will provide an html to a recording to that song so youâll know the tune even if youâve never heard it before.
End Intro
So it appears Blackjack is rubbing off of Dick Tracy. The tune heâs singing can be found here:

Father complex aside, the original Belle looked to be somewhere between 30 & 40, closer in age to Broadway, but, not as easy on the eyes! lol

By interspersing one story with another, they can stretch out the supspense while still keeping to the letter of the rule about time.
