I think Holly eats koalas for breakfast.I hope Holly can bear with Linda. Or she could get Linda to bear her soul to her.Maybe she can introduce Linda to some guy who is bearable.
I am still on the idea of getting her an orphan child to rear to cover for her own son. This is where her mail agony seems to be. Aside from being a Koala. I want to see Holly’s tail at this point, it seems to be very expressive.Blessed Be
“What happened to Holly’s ears?”They’re as expressive as her tail, and right now they’re saying “There’s gonna be a fight and we don’t wanna be all ‘up in your face’ where we can get bit or clawed. Rather, we’re gonna go flat and stay well out of the way.”
All this stuff with Linda reminded me of the fact we haven’t had a word about the brain-in-the-cooler for a long time now. Or maybe it’s just a long time to me.
Patience, folks. This is Endtown. One story told at a time, and told better than just about anywhere else. I’m sure Aaron will get back to our friend “brain in the box” when the time is right.;-)
Is anybody out there going to join me in the bidding for “Naughty or Nice?” I mean this is a great picture which deserves a bit of a fight. Is everybody going to let me walk away with this for a mere $85???
I think it is interesting that it looks like Linda actually got out of bed and came to the door. If so, then there is some curiousity there which speaks to me that, deep down, she wants a friend/wants to fit in/wants to be more comfortable in her new skin. Or am I reading too much into one panel?
“Naughty or Nice” deserves a fight!’I would love to give you a fight for this but my wife and I decided to retire now and discretionary funds are limited for a while.
You need to have a little sit down between you, whoever is forbidding you and Holly. I don’t think anyone would want to go against that face in panel 4. I know how it is though, went through a major dental issue $$$$ toward the beginning of Fall and now the holidays are here. . .cash is getting a little tight. I will have a look though and maybe I can scratch together enough for a Xmas gift for me. Although I really do want to get back to my previous arrangement with Aaron. I was trying to get a 4 X 6 of every character since the beginning and only got about a dozen in before the dental thing started. Definitely want to start back up NLT early Jan ’13.
A general comment on Petey and “3,” since a couple of people brought it up—-you guys are familiar with Mallard’s track record in invention. “1” and “2” could look nothing like “3”—-even “4” probably wouldn’t look like “3.”#Besides, the “3” might not be a model number. For all we know, Mallard could be commemorating Dale Earnhart or Babe Ruth.
Linda’s nose is way bigger than on real Koalas. Is there a reason for that? Does it mean to show how low Linda’s self esteem is at this point? Maybe we will see her nose go back down to more realistic proportions as she gets to feeling better about herself. If she ever does feel better. She is at a real emotional low, near total breakdown. I hope that Holly can help her and that they can become real friends.
Holly is such a super uber mousie chick!!Linda, renember that kick in the face she gave you?Youre in for some serious you aint seen nothing yetTalk about tough love!!!!
I noticed that Hollie’s ears were not seen. When my rats don’t want to be picked up, they flatten their ears close to the back of their heads, that is probably what Hollie’s ears are doing, plus, as it were said she would be protecting the sweet thin shell pink softness that is a rodent’s ear.

Not to be Lindas knight here bu lets hav some perspective…facts:
Flask broke the seal starting the change(she wanted something big and toothy to fight)
Wally SAVED Lindas life, after a fashion, by stunning her unconscious thus turning her anthro
Linda actually offer to give them “rhyming serial codes”
If any thing else, Linda should be “grateful” to Wally. If it wasnt for him, she’d be dead and that wouldve been that

Just a note to remind folks that, in spite of their “popular” name, koalas are not bears.
