Overboard is PLENTY funny ! Over the years, it’s collected an impressive lineup of characters————similar to cartoon classic, Thimble Theater, which eventually spun off POPEYE the SAILOR.

i am interested to read all these comments………..overboard is in my daily paper and i think it’s about the most non-funny, worst comic ever…….

To be honest, I miss the old Overboard days. I would gladly give up the talking mice and the talking dog for some old style Crows nest guy repartee. Those strips were classics.

These aren’t cartoons – they’re comics! Maybe that’s the problem.
