In the fourth panel the tree, which is the same variety that was seen in the Wizard of Oz, begins to pluck its own fruit and fling it at Scott and Mia.
P3 is the most elaborate artwork I’ve seen in the strip in quite a while. I wish he could do as well to keep the mustaches off those ’roided Milford girls. Is some hunter going to blast this peacock into smithereens, and then neither team wins again? The angst is killing me.
Why not take the whole team there so they can all shoot better? The Peacock would make a great shooting coach evidently. Pretty strange stuff going on in Miltown.
Jackpot!!! Uncle Ted Nugent where are you? Lasso and leash that bird, bring’em to the gym. During pre-game introductions, lighta off, spotlight on and HRRAAKK!!! Steve Luhm’s floor has been violated.
Okay, I hate to admit it, but I am actually finding this whole storyline really interesting because it is just so unusual. Neal and Rod definitely went outside the box on this one.
Best turn of events evah! Mia is going to go on to break the Wilt Chamberlain single-game scoring record tonight, and then she will score all night with Boo in the back room of the Bucket. Life is good. Thank you Jay-bird… thank you!

Hey, only sailors are more superstitious than jocks…maybe, so this storyline isn’t completely bonkers.

The peacock represents the climax of activities between P2 and P3.

I am so happy I’m going to print out an enlargement of P3 and get my crayola box out. The one with the sharpener on the side.

Still think her shooting attempts will hit the rim with a big HRRAAKK!!!

If were going to have a peacock, at least make this a full-color comic strip!
