Luann always seems to rustle someone else’s guy. Instead of “Luann”, perhaps they could call the strip, “The Rustlers of Pittsville.” The girl’s sports team could be “The Pittsville Rustlers.” Luann and Tiff could be co – captains of the rustling team. Apparently, she’s going to kidnap Quill, and bury him with Jimmy Hoffa :P

Half of Tiff’s conversation reminded me of the all the posts here negating his relationship with Luann. As for her plan, my theory is that it will have something to do with both of their connections in Los Angeles.

Well a good arc coming. Tiffany will generate some much needed interest in the Luann/Quill saga. Of course Quill is not going to prefer Tiffany – no matter where she is – however Tiff may provide complications where they’re least needed.

I wonder if Crystal will ever grow a conscience and tell Tiffany where to get off with her (Tiff’s) rotten scheming.

Tif’s schemes always work out so well. This will probably be moderately amusing.

Mikeyj Why do you hate Quill so vehemently? What has he done that makes you “hate” him? Hate is such a strong word and I don’t understand.

Crystal deserves better than Tiffany. on the other hand, since she hangs around with her, she is sort of guilty by default in being sleazy too.

Lev, this is the link to the 82nd Annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competition. Very reputable, gives cash prizes. Early bird deadline’s May 6, 2013. Fees are $15 for first poem submitted, $10 for each additional poem submitted in the same transaction. So this really brings out all of the diverging camps? A good strip or story would always do that (as oppose to be boring and ignored). Since I despise Tiffany more than anyone in luannverse or in comics generally, I have to join a haters group myself. But I wrestle with whether the complete elimination of Tiffany would be a good thing or bad. I don’t mind luann having a foil but why does it have to be someone like Tiffany?? For the record, I really like luann and quill or luann and anyone except the awful Gunther (which I guess everyone forgot that we purposely voted against).

I don’t know if crystal has many friends. She seems to want to keep an arm’s length of everyone, daring to be different and not fit in. I guess there has to be a companion to Tiffany otherwise the strip would show her talking to herself since no one else is willing nor should listen to her.

Tiff says to Quill, “my right leg’s Christmas, my left leg’s New Years, come up and see me between the holidays.”

Just when I think there’s something admirable about her ..

The only unrealistic thing about this strip is that Crystal and Tiff are still hanging together, and Luann is still hanging with Delta & Bernice.*My experience in both high school & college is that when a girl got a guy, they both basically ditched their friends.*Like D&B are always bored with new of Cutie Quill.
