Men were hunters – knew what they needed and went after it (I call this man-shopping, or tunnel-vision shopping). Women were gatherers – saw what was available and took it home (hubby calls this woman-shopping).
This is close to my life – but my wife usually says “We should stop here” after we have already driven by. Unless it is for something really important I don’t turn around and go back. I am also with summerdog’s DH – I hate making left turns across traffic – unless when we leave after I can turn right. Should note that 3 right turns = one left turn.

I used to go to holiday bazaars/boutiques just to see what I could find, but now I don’t really enjoy looking at things that I will probably never buy. Maybe when my girls have their own homes and need/want things, but I don’t need anything else.
