Okay. Actually, he deserves a little organization. Go get him Cathy.

I do it for my DH, but I don’t talk about it. One reason he keeps me around. ; )

For the life of me, I don’t know how Irving could possibly look at a drawer that has to be left open because it’s piled so high full of junk that it can’t be closed and NOT think that Cathy’s right about it needing at least some decluttering and reorganization to in order to help make it at least a little bit neater anyhow. Well, as the old saying goes: “There are none so blind as those who will not see.” :-/

As for me, I’m a real neat-freak and disorganized messes like this give me a great deal of anxiety so I’m really glad to be married to someone who’s even more anal-retentive about keeping things nice and orderly than I am! ;-)

I’m with Irving on this. I don’t appreciate advice from my hubby. It feels like I’m being micromanaged. I take advice from other people just fine, probably because I know I am free to ignore it.

I do not like advice but will accept help. However, Irving’s stuff is impossible! Ultimatum: fix it and the drawers and doors all need to close well enough so that when I put away laundry, my hand doesn’t get smashed. The or else? I’d do it myself. Lots of easy donation opportunities within 5 minutes of us.

I think I have to almost side with Irving on this one. I have always maintained that if you don’t like the way I am doing something then do it yourself – or at least help me do it. Don’t just stand there and give advice. If I see a better way (meaning more efficient for time and safety) of doing something my wife is doing I don’t tell her how to do it, I show her by helping. Makes for a happier life that way.

Once again Mother Nature has her calendar wrong. It is a beautiful spring day with temps above freezing. It is supposed to be way below freezing so those who enjoy winter sports can get out and do them. There is a warning about pressure cracks that have opened up in the lake so snowmobilers have to take extra care on the ice. Good snow for building snowpersons though.

    Have a pleasant Saturday.

Oy! Personally, I think Irving should just back away slowly with his hands raised in self-defense …

Love it, JT. I’m gonna have to steal that one.

    HI, MOM. Hello, “Cathy” Clan.

Don’t mind advice, don’t mind help, don’t like criticism.
