Am I in “The Twilight Zone”?

With me it would be more of, “don’t look at my hair…my gray roots need touching up”.

First world problems. I heard somewhere that there is a Chinese greeting that goes ‘Have you eaten?’ Apparently, the American reply is ‘Yes, I have so eaten!’.

Cathy, unless you are wearing hip waders, your boots will not hide the extra weight on your hips.
Happy Saturday to everyone who drops by today. Hope you are getting the sunshine I see today but not the way below freezing temperature.
lindz.coop – the wind may have been from the east but the whole weather system was heading north-east. Late yesterday afternoon I was talking to a friend who lives near Detroit and he mentioned that it had been snowing lightly all day. As he said that it started to lightly snow here too.

Both of them assume the other will notice that they gained weight and judge them. No one else cares about your appearance as much as you do – most people don’t even notice. I had a cat scratch across my eyelid with a mild black eye, and no one noticed in two weeks.

My wise father-in-law once told me, to stop worrying about what people think of you. He said, “they are only thinking of themselves and will hardly give you a thought”.

That’s an … interesting … way to greet a friend. Personally, I lean towards a simple “Hello”, but that must not be Nut-jobby enough. Am I right??
HI, MOM. Hello, “Cathy” Clan.

Ok hendelca…yup, it has been snowing off & on here for the past couple of days…but luckily, we don’t have that nasty cold stuff you are experiencing. Anybody else ever experience a loss of weight with surgery? I managed to balance on the scale today, and noticed that even with my up-to-the-knee cast, I’ve lost about 4 lbs. I have not been trying to lose…in fact I feel like I’m eating more than ever.
