Yay, someone finally stood up to Irving’s mom and put her in her place (outside)!
Hello Cathy friends! Thank you for your kind words about our cats, good friends! I really appreciate that even though many of us haven’t met in person, we are all friends here and we care for each other. It’s been a tough time, but I know I can come here for a respite. Hugs to you all!

Also, check out Cathy Commiserations again! The moderator posted that they’ve added new content that goes back to 2018! They’re very cute and it will give me something to look at.

Happy Canada Day to our Canadian friends!

I am quite happy with the results of this power struggle. Let us hope that CM (Cathy’s Mom) continues to be victorious. Maybe IM (Irving’s Mom) will give up and go home – or is that too much to hope for?
Thank you lightenup. I will pass that Happy Canada Day on to the other Canadians who hang out here as well. It is a quiet, and very hot, day with almost no celebrations happening since they create crowds. I think I will celebrate the day by spreading a little more dirt around the rebuilt retaining wall. Not exactly patriotic but it does need to be done – in little increments as it is over 90F out there today. With the added humidity I can pretend I am at Walt Disney World – although I don’t think the tractor will go as fast as Thunder Mountain Railroad!

Irving’s mother is obviously someone who has NEVER “pet-parented” a day in her life or even spent that much time around dogs in general. Electra is sleeping very peacefully in her Grandma Anne’s arms and there’s absolutely no reason in the world to wake her up before she’s ready just because that crazy old lady has decided on her own to set up some sort of ridiculous pee/poop “schedule” for the dogs that has to be strictly followed by everyone in the house — no matter what. That sweet little girl is tired and needs her rest. The proper time to take her out is when she herself is ready to wake up from her nap, and not a minute before. Why Cathy and Irving are putting up with this nonsense is beyond me because if she were to tell ME (in so many words) that I didn’t know how to correctly “parent” my dog, I’d be INCREDIBLY p.o.‘d about it so after Round One in the “Grandma Wars” was pretty much considered a draw yesterday, I think Cathy’s mother did an excellent job of winning Round Two today! ❤

Feel the love … once again here. Oy.
Happy to say I’m on a brand-new computer, after some troubles with my previous one. Initial setup went pretty well, and hope to finish moving stuff over tomorrow.
HI, MOM. Hello, “Cathy” Clan.

Happy Canada Day…Wish I was there!! The covid19 rate is practically non-existent compared to the US. I’m so glad to see someone actually toss IMom out the door and CMom was right, the dog’s asleep, leave her alone.
