A second power outage on late Thursday afternoon “killed” my computer monitor and shopping became a necessity! Total time from home and back was less than 30 minutes. I hate shopping!!
Come back???!!!! I feel exactly the same way. I go into a shopping mall about once every three years. The entire expedition is organized to minimize the time spent having that “experience”.
Wow! Just caught up on the strips and comments and I am now exhausted from the shopping. Glad my mall shopping with my wife consists of me saying ‘see you later’ then heading for the book store then to one of the husband benches (or chairs if it is a good mall) to people watch. Then when I figure she is about done I head to the area I figure she would reach in that time. Rarely do I have to look too long to find her. Even better when we go to North Bay. I drop her off at the mall and I head to my lighting effect supplier. I usually spend way more than she does on those trips.
It was a fun week. Smaller hall, smaller audience, and a shorter show (too many performers tested positive in the two weeks before the show so there was no time to replace them) but a lot more work to set up as the hall does not have any stage lighting other than a bank of floodlights. Still worth the time though.

Irving didn’t know what he was getting himself into when he went shopping with Cathy.

I hope you drove in separate cars, Irving. If so, tell her you’re going to another mall, but instead go home. If not, thoughts and prayers for you.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Monday! Have a great day, all!

That’s it. Irving has finally snapped.
Of course, after hearing that spiel from our title character, I’m sure I’d be right there with him. Ha.
