You have to wonder what the future holds for the children that are growing up in this oh so warped attitude about violence. The real world is not going to be easy on them. It seems to me, that the people that are pushing this agenda are unknowingly creating a whole generation of potential victims. The children should be taught about the psychology of violence. This would be healthier than sending them out in the world, with only a deer caught in the headlights reaction, when they are confronted with reality.
I was recently reading about how government bureaucrats advance their careers by always following the rules and never thinking on their own, which attracts a certain type of mentality. Then it dawned on me this also explains mindless adherence to all sorts of “zero tolerance” rules in cases like the one in this cartoon.
(I’m surprised that cdward is so out of contact with what is happening in the schools today. My school-teacher GF tells me children aren’t allowed to tell the “How do you eat an elephant” joke because it is violent.)
Cdward must watch movies all day and never listens or watches the news. I wonder if knows people in charge can’t tell the difference between and automatic assault weapon and a semi automatic rifle?
This whole thing is SO OUT OF CONTROL! Look back to when we were kids! GOOD GOD! WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THIS COUNTRY CALLED THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!
Maybe, just maybe, John is trying to make a point about HOW ABSURD AND RIDICULOUS AND TOO PC WE ARE GETTING!
Dead on John, good job. Our rule makers are more interested in mindlessly following their stupid rules blindly, rather than using common sense to keep the kids safe.

No, let’s not get on the ridiculous train again. John, you really don’t need to prove again that you have no idea what really happens on schools.

Yep, all a kid has to do is point their finger like a gun, and get suspended. That happened too.

another girl was suspended because she had a ripped piece of paper that “happened” to look like a gun and a boy pointed it out.
