Meteorologists, the only people I know of that are paid to be wrong.

To be fair to meteorologists, some areas are very difficult to predict. Like the west coast of Canada. Some areas, like the prairies, you only have to look towards the horizon to know what is coming.

Dr. George Fischbeck (born 1922) was a television weatherman on KOB-TV in Albuquerque, New Mexico from the early 1960s to early 1970s. His unique, sometimes humorous forecasts were unscripted and often turned into an opportunity to educate his viewers on the subject of weather.

Suzanne: Vancouver is easy. In the ’70s, CBU would play on the weather segment with Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head. .Jeff0811: WFAA in Dallas had Warren Culberson in the ’60s who did the same. Even today, some will try a snippet of education in their forecast, but few educate their audiences.
