Having, in my relatively long life, dealt with both pregnant and menopausal women, I am not sure which is the most emotionally volatile . I do know, poor Toggle is treading on very explosive ground !

Leo, you knew she wasn’t thrilled about you working with this woman before. And, yes, she knew she wasn’t being entirely rational about it, but, geez, dude, think before you speak!

Maybe pregnant women don’t like to hear their husbands talk about how they’re helping other women advance their musical careers. And maybe the expectant computer geek is jealous that he figured out how to exploit Kickstarter before she did.

Be patient with Alex. She has a big dose of hormonal blues, pregnant with twins.

will he learn by the end of the pregnancy? probably not. mine never did, and he went through three of mine. i used to sit at home and file my teeth and fingernails because i just knew he was going to say something “stupid”.

amazing to watch the comments, no clue as to what or where Alex is coming from. so everyone puts their own “stuff’” to “explain” this nonsensical comic.

to watch a Republican with their sense of entitlements and fears, throw their hatred towards everyone in the mix is also fascinating. so clueless, so typical

susan do you have ANY idea what leo’s affliction is about at all? its NOT a stammer because he DIDNT have it at all until AFTER his jeep/truck/transport got blown all to hell. talk about opening your mouth before thinking. i dont recall what the specific ailment is called, but its serious and DEFINITELY NOT a regular stammer at all.

I think her hormones are way out of whack due to her pregnancy. Irrational fears show themselves – and don’t make sense (thus the wording of irrational). Think back a couple of weeks when she was jealous of Sky and her husband. And then she apologized for her actions/outburst. Well, the irrational is back!

I see they are still in the trailer. Her and her big belly won’t fit in there much longer, not to mention the two kids when they make their appearances.

Simply put, he’s talking about another woman in a positive light, while Alex is feeling at her lowest. No one gets this? Seriously? Does no one talk to anyone else in their lives ever?

Several years ago, my husband’s mother had a bout of cancer. A few months after her treatment ended, my husband told me his parents had called him. His father was suffering from this, that, and the other. I asked hubby how his mother was doing. He said that she was fine and why was I asking.

Yes, the stammer and lack of an eye are really inconsiderate on his part. Perhaps if he had done a better job of avoiding a hidden IED in Iraq and being nearly killed then you would not have to endure his studder.

I always find it interesting when people make statements about women and their hormonally-induced bouts of, um (let us say), insensitivity. No one ever seems to notice that men belabor the world by acting from within the miasma of an uninterrupted testosterone drunkenness.

As a race, our hormonal insanities may have had evolutionary and survival value, but for a nascent civilization on the constant verge of self-destruction, it is a challenge that seems hardly recognized, never mind accepted.

You know, were it not for that fact that women are crazy the species would likely fail to reproduce itself. On the other hand, were it not for the fact that men are crazy we for sure wouldn’t have nuclear bombs. Right now, anyway, the women are “winning.” And in any case, I’m sure glad I got a vasectomy decades ago.

Having been an expectant mother many times, I really cannot sympathize with Alex. She has always been an egocentric, controlling, spoiled child and this continues. I don’t know what Toggle sees in her. She should be thankful that his career is going well, since she doesn’t have one at all and she won’t be able to get a job until some time after the little one is born.

Sheesh, she is going to be the kind of mother who thinks her kid is the only one ever born. The kind teachers hate because the kid is never wrong. The kind coaches hate because they always have to make sure the kid gets more playing time than anyone else.

Few things are worse than being in a relationship with a neurotic. A pregnant neurotic is hell. Toggle doesn’t deserve it.
