Auugh! Haggis? Please, please boil all the flavour out!

Give me fish’n’chips & mushy peas!

Unless you would rather have lutefisk.

I don’t know about Scottish food, but I love fishn’ chips & steakn’ kidney pie.

Scottish food consists mostly of guts and gruel with maybe a wee bit of bracken for roughage.

I don’t think I can stomach this.

Pie and mash and eel liquor.

Everyone told me when I went to England that I would starve to death… I actually came home 5lbs heavier. I couldn’t get enough Cottage & Shepherd’s Pie, Fish & Chips (oddly they looked like french fries), Haggis, Bangers & Mash… I loved it all… but the thing I loved best was the non-fizzy beer & ale. Can’t wait to go back!!

And then there’s the Haggis burger on a bun…no thanks!

I remember a band years ago called “Bad Haggis”. The joke was, there was no other kind.

Just give me the Bubble and Squeak and leave the bottle of single malt here.

Haggis, fried tomatoes, oatmeal, venison, salmon and of course Scotch. I loved the food in Scotland.

One thing I never understood: all throughout the UK; toast was severed cold, often in vertical racks that maximize the cooling.

Lung meat steamed in a sheep’s stomach. Yum, yum.

This cartoon is so wrong it probably constitutes a libel. Scotland has some excellent produce and restaurants to match.

Have you ever noticed there are no Canadian resturants? Hmm.
