They seem to be on their way to the baggage claim. I’d guess that maybe his luggage would be permanently lost, but he probably flew QANTAS or VAustralia (both top-notch airlines) so I doubt it.

I can enjoy the moment here, but in the back of my mind, I wonder if it could take a turn like the infamous Kelly/Zack “SBTB” breakup… where there was the unintentional “I didn’t know that I’d find somebody else heartbreak angle”…the good news was that they eventually got back together…==And since they’re just in the beginning stages, hopefully, Lu will get good guidance (like from Toni, for example) in how to weather the storms in a relationship…the trust factor, the potential for communication/miscommunication issues… it is still a young love, after all… but if it’s true love, it’s worth fighting for…..==But if there’s one thing for sure…it’s “Aaron WHO?”…..

Genuinely nice couple:) So rare in the world today! Though my first allegiance is to Tiffany, I hope she will back off when she sees how solid the commitment between Quill and Luann is. Tiffany is a rival and a rascal, and often the heavy, but I do not think she is utterly wicked or evil as some suppose. Fighting over an unattached boy is one thing, sabotaging true love is another, and I pray Tiffany will not go there. Sail on Tiffany, your time will come!

I bet I know what’s going to happen: Tiffany’s tentmate will break =her= leg, Luann’s called off the waiting list at the very last moment, aaaaand…she has to bunk with Tiffany.Apologies if someone else has already said this—I haven’t been reading every comment every day lately.

Want some drama? Luann gets pregnant, just to her hooks in as deep as she can.

there is not yet a “Gunther WHO?”^Yeah, truly! Until Gunther and Rosa actually go the way of Brad and Toni, the “Viking Horned Soprano” is still “claiming a case of laryngitis”…==Maybe they’ll do what some other creators have done, and let the other love interests fade out, and then let the underdog finally get the girl he’d been chasing, all along…==But it doesn’t seem like a “consolation prize” to keep him with Rosa, either….==It seems to me that apart from Brad, Gunther seems to be in the most comfortable spot… He can stick with Rosa and be content and set with someone that will treat him right… or he can try to wait out Quill, if he “went mad” to chase after the original girl of his dreams, or if somehow he and Rosa were to split (if that was going to happen, I hope it happens amicably, as he’d be stupid, to me, to give up what seems the best deal that he’s got, with her)… it seems win-win for him…

So, walk to baggage claim. Tiff is standing there with a sign reading “Quill” and pushes her way in.

“We’ll lock up before you leave…”^Wow, don’t even get me started with them… I may actually have to realign with Sony, since MS wants me to pay them twice for installing discs that I bought from them in order to put them on another computer I own… and then the new thing about XBOX one, is that if you somehow lose your net, you can only play your game off-line for a limited time, before it’s gone kaput… and soon actual game discs will be a thing of the past, as publishers will have the choice to deny you certain things on the physical disc, and then they want to push Bing over Google, since there was no buyout, and it probably goes on….

I don’t know if this may help, but over here near a major city in the mid-Atlantic, the area schools are just finishing up this week (final day (6-15-13)… Of course if Pitts is “based” on California schools, that might not apply…. maybe they’ve got until next week( or even 2 weeks after this week) to start the camp…

Serious answer: From just my point of view, Toni’s appearance gave a non-high school dimension, since the majority of the main cast were mostly in the “stereotype” of young types, from their various “walks of life”… her backstory, along with her personality and physical appearance brought considerable depth, as well… Quill, while showing promise, and having been around for several years, still has yet to have made his “trademark” in Luann… once their relationship shows signs of lasting beyond the perennial “high school sweetheart stage”, or causes in Luann the similar changes found in Brad, or causes Luann to have dramatically changed her outlook for good or bad (hopefully not anything drastic), then his impact will definitely be sealed…==Not so serious answer: Toni has saved this strip from a lot of guys not being able to make cat calls and the like, and Quill has saved the women folk from not being able to have that “Rick Springfield/Jack Wagner some other modern day “hunky” leading man type” to go awww, and to blame the rest of us guys for not being “romantical enough”… ha ha!

I think since I recently purchased my computer, it came with “8”, which led me to say what I was saying earlier, partly because of some of the “gripes” I’ve been hearing people register… I don’t have any problems with the OS per se, but I do think they are collecting money from people left and right, with some of their practices… == So, bottom line is, having “8” and no XP at all, I searched in possible locations, but couldn’t find the file… ==BTW, it’s funny, I was thinking about the fact that XP looks like a face with squinting eyes, and a raspberry…. (XP) like, take that, public consumers… lol!

“Whoo whoo!! the excitement!!”^Yeah, Gunth isn’t exactly 1st in line for the “Weekend Fishing Expedition”, or to hang an engine block up on a chain, while retrofitting parts with chrome, or engaging in the civilian type “weekend warrior” activities… uh, I guess not even the 31st in line… he’s not visibly the “ladies man”… but the one thing he has going for him, is being mostly “stable”… girls usually equate that with boring, but many of them get to a point when they start to see that “stable” sure beats having their heart broken (although it seems some women never got that memo)… but for some, that “boring, stable” person provides the balance to their persona, sometimes the opposite of that… at this point, it’s too early to tell, but if something happened that L/Q and G/R each moved on, you never know… maybe Luann gets that notion upon turning another age, that that was exactly what she needed all along… but Luanniverse time is a looooong time… that bridge is not quite here, yet…

That, and he’s not a “dummy”… and besides his blossoming with Rosa (with a little help from his friends), he appears most comfortable with Luann… her balking at dating him could in some ways be attributed to her current outlook, which is still developing, ( I guess they’re both works in progress ) even at 17….

“Pretty clearly Luann (and Quill) enjoys this kind of banter; it’s been part of their entire relationship”^They really DO have a witty, clever way of speaking, and it shows up in their dialog… they do have a chemistry that makes their wordplay seem flawless and smooth…
