Coming Soon š At the beginning of April, youāll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
āWhile it adds to the drama, it really stretches my suspension of disbelief that thereās that much booze left in Endtown, āColonyās built over a natural spring.āIf itās so readily available, itās amazing the entire town hasnāt been in a drunk stupor for years."What makes you think it isnāt?
New auction up! This time, the deadline is Sunday night. Please bid, or buy the print, and help Endtown keep running.According to the description, this is a second draft of the art to be used for the cover of Endtown volume 4. Aaron hasnāt decided which version to use. You can voice your opinion when you bid.
More than the booze, Iāve seen characters smoking and have to wonder who it is who is wasting time and resources growing either pot plants or tobacco.
GoComics is very disappointing. āAdChoicesā is a scamdistributor of advertorials, ads disguised as news, and they are crooks. I know gocomics has to pay the bills, but canāt they even deal with honest merchants? This is what topsiders would doā¦ā¦
One of the reasons I sprung the 12 bucks a year and went Pro membership was I can avoid ads (besides gocomics ads) and can load all of my strips on one page. I open Endtown separately because I usually find insights in the comments, but you donāt have to, you can just read the comics all on one page. Iām generally satisfied with what I get for the money.
I couldnāt see what Dottie was doing when I looked in at this on my Nook Color this morning, but now Iāve got it on my big screen and it makes senseā¦either step up, Walter, or give the job to someone who will.
While it adds to the drama, it really stretches my suspension of disbelief that thereās that much booze left in Endtown-Well they never ran out of booze on Battlestar Galactica either.
Itās about time someone (like Dottie) knock that bottle of liquid damnation out of his hand! Thatās how I feel too about anyone who has to find āanswersā from something whoās only proof is itās content!
Well, alcohol could be something thatās part of some machinery in Endtown, say as a coolant or as fuel, and maybe itās drawn off from that. #But more likely, for both tobacco and alcoholā¦the Earthās population has gone down from billions to thousandsā¦I donāt know how many are in the other communities (and somehow I donāt think the Topsiders open their masks to drink or smoke), and I donāt know how much potential Endtown resources were actually destroyed in the War, but I donāt think they could go through all of it in the time allotted.
In defense of Waltās attempted action, I am currently in the middle of drinking a bottle of Johnny Walker Black Label (from a flask). When thatās done, Iāll get another bottle ā theyāll make more. āTo you, Walt! Donāt let the little lady push you around.ā
What I canāt figure out is what that thing above the crowd in Panel One is. It looks like a rope with a pulley strung out on another ropeā¦it might be part of the elevator system but I donāt see the elevator.
In defense of Waltās action he made it clear in Endtown 1.0 (the later part covered by Book #2) that he never wanted to be mayor in the first place. It just seems like everybody else votes him in because none of them want the job either. Up until this time, the job really didnāt demand all that much of him. Thus he can be forgiven for feeling this is a perfect job for somebody else. Thankfully, Dottie isnāt having any of that.
Booze is non-perishable, and thereās a lot of it in the stores waiting to be sold. If the majority of the worldās population were to turn to dust and the majority of the survivors were to become monsters, there would be a ready supply for the remaining society for a long while.
And Walt shows her who the man he is suppose to be.He simply turns and walks away.Seen it done.Hope it does not happen.Late posting today we had training.I got to toss tear gas canisters at my guys. Well we have to check the masks and gear to make sure they work. They did. Till you take it off. THENā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦Interesting turn of events does the Mayor step up or step back.Lets see.
I was wandering around in the End town cyberspace.. I found a site that had "the early Albert. It was good, and Gustine was still looking human. And there was something about a childās teddy bear. I had such a bear when I was little. Still have him. He is a Zotty Bear.

Yeah, Endtown was a more enjoyable place when the shadow-mayor was this lovely firebrand, and not the faceless Council.

Take out a subscription to GoComics. It doesnāt cost much, and itās one of the ways the creators like Aaron get paid.

Now would be a great time for Blackie to make a reappearance. We need someone like her to kick ass and take names.

Not to intentionally put Walt out of a job, but might Wally do a better job as Mayor?

āI think Wally is too smart to want that job."
Well someone needs to be smart to be mayor of Endtown besides Walt. Because as he boozing, Endtown is loosing.
