I often wondered about, why women seem to carry the small children on their left hip all the time. Left handed women should carry the infant on the right hip,to free the left hand,of the mother.

I tend to carry my baby on my right hip because my left hip is bad and starts to seriously hurt if he’s on my left for too long.

I always used my right hip, even though I’m right-handed. Diaper bag on the left shoulder, baby on the right hip! ;-) Awww… I miss those days…

Somehow, I thought the Fat Broad would have liked this one a bit more.

LOL! I STILL sometimes sway back and forth as if I had a child on my left hip.

“What good does the dad do?”-It varies with the dad.-Some hit the hills as soon as they find out they are about to be biological fathers.-Some drop by and visit every few months.-Some bring home the mammoth meat, dig the cave, skin the sabertooth.-Some even take the place of the mother who just got bored and left.-I’ve seen variations of all the above.

“Sometimes I feel lucky (?) that I never had a father! :) Or better put, there was never a father figure deserving of me!”-You may be right. It dependes on what happened to the biological father. If he died or ran.-My son says he keeps hearing mine and his mother’s words coming out of his own mouth. He seems to think we were good for something.-He even talks about having to raise the children who work under him who haven’t learned so many things they need to know to get by in life. Quite often the advice he gives them is the advice we gave him from the very beginning.I feel guilt-free.
