It looks like Eddie is three sheets to the wind in the third panel. I wonder what he drinks while he’s at sea… (yes, yes a pun). He only drinks coffee at the diner I think.

If he was with Phil Folgio’s female character would that be Dixie Wailing. (Two bad references for the price of one. BTW, I support sustainable whaling.

Leslie, yeah, what a great word! Panel 3 is an example….It could stand alone and still be outstanding…(uh, did I just stumble into a pun?) With or without meaning it is an uplifting work of art….

I just saw the name of the boat. ROTFLMAO!!!!! If you don’t know what it means, look it up. It really adds another facet to the cartoon. I did and I just added another marvelous word to my vocabulary that is unfortunately appropriate to current times. I’m certain Wiley Miller is acutely aware of this. Thanks Wiley!

“Anoesis” is what we used to call a “knee-jerk reaction”. We all have them and, as children, act on that first response. As adults, we can do better.

I’m pretty sure the name of the boat came from a contest Mr Miller had a while back. At least I remember a contest, with lots of names, here in the forums, or something. Maybe in my old age I’m losing it. Who knows. Anyway, if I remember right, that’s what it was.

Lost yer ‘a’ key, huh? Spray some windex down there followed by some compressed air, and fast, too. Failing that, unscrew a few dozen screws from the bottom of the kbd and wipe that mat area with the windex & sponge.. If you’re on a laptop put a gun to your head and force march yourself to the nearest computer shop and after that, I got nuthin’… I’ve saved a few dozen kbd’s that way salvaged from the ‘electronics’ bin at the local recycle center, and donated ’em to local libraries, schools and whoever would take ’em…

I want more Eddie.
