For a few years I had a PT Cruiser, and I lost it in a sea of huge SUVs.Now I have a Nissan Frontier pickup, and I still lose it in a huge sea of SUVs occasionally.

I remember the little orange foam balls that Union 76 provided to put on the end of your antenna. You could easily find your car unless too many people used them.

@pelican47 -I remember them… and they sure didn’t work with those electric antennas. Turn off the radio, or shut down the engine… BANG! Gone went the ball! And I remember seeing them alongside the roadways (day-glo styrofoam litter). Nowadays, you’d be hard pressed to find a car with a visible antenna mast. Personally, I preferred Exxon’s “tiger tail” that attached to my gas cap (I’ve got a tiger in my tank) and stuck out the fueling cover as a gas-station giveaway.I also remember getting free glasses with each fill up. And premium gas (Ethyl) was only 29.9 cents/gal. Ahhhh, those were the days, my friend; we thought they’d never end.

I find it kinda sad that I have to shout “Marco!” just to find my car in a mall parking lot on a Saturday. I wish I had Moses’ ability.

I put a super-charger on my 1983 Toyota Hylux. At the mall, I would set off alarms on the nearby cars everytime I drove by.

Kudos to today’s commenters. Here’s my comment:I haven’t seen anyone yet who has trouble finding his/her car while looking for, say, the beige ChryslerTown and Country van before remembering that he/she had been driving the elderly Mazda

I use my GPS. I save the “here” location before I walk away from the car. It helps a lot when leaving the car in the long term lot at the airport.

I just usually park at the far end of the parking lot, where the other cars aren’t so densely parked.

Many families find a larger car a necessity. The family member with the longest commute drives the most economical car. How many team members with sports equipment fit in your Civic? How do you take a camping trip with your family of 5? Do you have room for a tuba? Not to mention who survives the accident.

What I like about my little town, the largest parking lot in town only has two rows, about 20 cars in each!! But, that just make going to the “big city” MORE frustrating, but the key fob does make the horn honk! (just once, not an alarm)

And cars are mentioned twice in the Bible. In Genesis, God drove them from the Garden in his Fury! And Paul says the disciples all came together in one Accord!

The fact that gas-sippers (like your Civic) can’t pull trailers…I have to have a wheelchair everywhere I go, plus there are six of us in my family, so a Suburban is just about the only option other than school bus!
