Isn’t it curious that in a world that would have to be as large as this that Endtown, one of the largest, most sophisticated mutant colonies would be in walking distance of a major Topsider outpost. I’m assuming the fact that it is tasked with the job of launching a rocket would make it major. Since most of the action takes place within the confines of Hillside, we don’t know how extensive the Topsider network is but I have the impression that it may be world wide. Otherwise their hopes of killing all mutants is not even a pipe dream.
When you use an “enemy” to gain power you need more “enemies” to keep the ball rolling. So Allgood is dead and now as I said in the past, we move on to labeling any non anthros as ‘Topsiders’ the enemies among us.
Animals are People too. And People are Topsiders who want to kill Animals. Therefore, Everyone should kill Everyone. Isn’t that how we got into this apocalyptic mess in the first place?
Good idea…Except that Mallard wasn’t any help during the Milk Trial. So I can’t expect too much from him now.Which reminds me… I wonder how Linda is doing…
Oh yes! Buy the books! I reread mine frequently, at least partly because I can read at my pace rather than whatever speed GoComics happens to be loading new pages (very slow today).
topsiders call unmutated humans Typhoid Marys and perform hideous vivisections on them when a cheek swab would be all that’s necessary. Has this knowledge not permiated into endtown yet? I suppose not but maybe Kowalski should find a way to mention it…
What they fail to see is that:1. There is a common enemy that means to kill them all. Topsiders.2. They are all in the same boat. Its called Endtown. That kind of belief that we are all in the same boat has been my cry since I was young. I could not understand why this group hated that group when we (in our universe) share one thing. We all live on the same planet. If we don’t like it here…..where the hell can you go.Endtown is facing the same thing…..if you don’t like it here….where the hell are you going to go.Segregation and Prejudice at its worse and still a problem.
Veteran,That is one of the things that drives me to distraction. In fact I once tried working on a story about a genetically altered being that had alien genetic material reworked to give him a human appearance (kind of like going into a modern salvage yard, taking existing bits of body panels from cars & trucks built after 1990 and building a 40 Ford Coupe body out of them). He lived among humans but was aware of alien civilizations and never understood why humans were at each other’s throats while members of different alien species could work together. There are times when I think there is something seriously defective with humanity.
One thing I don’t think anyone commented on yet: Mallard and Wally might have a passing association with each other. Of course, Wally has an idea of who Mallard is, because of the indoctrination film everyone has to watch. But, there was the incident where Mallard intercepted Marx as he was trying to take Linda out of her cell. So, both Holly and Wally would have briefly gotten a glimpse of the duck before Marx was hauled off. Conversely, Mallard would have spotted all three of them – Holly, Wally and Linda – and he’d read Petey’s report on the rocket mission. Marx even said that giving the ditto ball to Mallard was Wally’s idea. So, Wally has a bit of an “in” with Mallard, although he may not be aware of it. And Mallard may make the connection between Wally and Marx’s ditto ball when he shows up at the lab.
another day I have missed being the first to comment.I am about to make a protest against my MD, There is NO EXCUSE that pain should be all there is to life. Ii may be late, but I will try to keep up. Love you all.
Sorry I forgot earlier, and Level_Head is indisposed.
Vote ENDTOWN Vote Doc Rat Vote for Kevin and Kell Vote for Hubris
I have temporarily added Hubris and Kevin and Kell, Because Hubris fans have cooperated with us before on mutually supporting Endtown 2.0 and Doc Rat. I added Kevin and Kell to the list at Wabbit’s suggestion, and hope someone can post a message requesting mutual support for our preferred strips, and maybe even check them out and possibly become Followers of Endtown 2.0 and Doc Rat.Sincerely, Respectively & Fraternally (you know who)JusSayin
Slow update. I think what’s happening is that Aaron is uploading the next day’s strip at the last minute, and GoComics isn’t noticing right away. Give it a few minutes for the updater script to realize that the file exists and adds it to the queue.

You can still (like always) read from the beginning. A big job, but worth it.

And thus all the loose ends are tied together and Wally can actually start moving forward again.

Wally better brush up on his dancing skills if he wants to see Mallard. Boredom has made entertaining each other a currency.
