reminds me of my brother and I sitting on the couch, trying to look innocent, mother standing over us, dad coming in the door, saying, “What have they done..this time?”

From where I’m from it’s “Hate both the sin AND the sinner!”

I don’t like when Christians use the phrase, “Love the sinner, hate the sin”. That sounds judgmental to me. What should be said is, “Love the sinner, hate YOUR OWN sin.”

Then again this could be a psychological ploy on Calvin’s part. By preparing dad to expect a felony he may go easier on Calvin when he finds out it’s only a misdemeaner.

Calvin is homophobic?
