If you can’t say something nice about someone…..

OK, I usually grab the general meaning/intent, but this one has me by the baffles.

As a foreigner whose first language is not English, does anyone care to explain why this cartoon is funny?

So, the joke is a forest service instead of a funeral service. Good thing this joke has a comments section for us slow-witted ones.

It probably doesn’t help that many of you didn’t understand the ‘Thumper’ reference. That said, I have to admit that it is only funny in sick kind of way.

Alexikakos: U Comics is for comics…not politics, sports or cooking. Seriously? If you just need your name in print, get your own site or get on Craigslist Rants and Raves. Be prepared for a rollicking good time with whatever thread of topics the day presents. I rarely look on the comments but sometimes I have to when the entire list of comics don’t load, to see each one. I have seen some drivel in my time but seriously?Please don’t tell others to shut up when you have little concept of the words yourself.

I always cry at weddings and funerals… they’re both so depressing.

I get the punch line but it really isn’t funny, imho.

Would have been clearer if it had said “What is HELD when Thumper eats a tainted carrot.”

I believe “Thumper” was a rabbit in a Disney cartoon movie, And yes, service can equate to a funeral service.
