Every time the mayor speaks, all I can think of is old horror movie “music.”

Reminds me of the time I lived in North Carolina in the ‘60s. The town of Cornelius had a mayor who’s last name was O’Possum, the first marsupial ever elected to public office in North Carolina. At a press conference one day, confronted with evidence that he’d used campaign funds to feather a secret nest downtown, he promptly feigned death. True story.

Damn Tea Party. Just raise taxes and buy a new plug.

Here’s a thought:It’s so easy to get caught up in this kind of inane stuff and forget…… what if it’s not even a municipal boat and is owned by someone else? It’s not even relevant that the mayor has a thought about the situation.

There’d be plenty of money to fix the boat if they’d just trim some fat. From the budget, I mean.

The pig is more like Gov. Perry of Texas. Refused tens of millions of dollars from the Feds for Medicare and Medicaid just to thumb his nose at Obama. Meanwhile, one in four Texans go uninsured.
