Oh, BTW, at some time in the last couple of months they expanded the archives for The Buckets here in GoComics. Now they go all the way back to February 19, 1996, back when Stantis drew the strip (?). No Sundays until June 2011, though.
Frank was born in 1928 (in 1996, his highschool had a 50th Reunion)That means Larry was born roughly between 1945 and 1968. IF we go “half way” and say 1956, Larry would have been 40 on April 2, 1996, meaning Sarah had the kids when Larry was in his 30’s.

Water with his supper for a week and an apology to the whole family for his rude behavior.

Small mistake by I forgot his name the colorist: Eddie’s shirt is inconsistent. (Sorry. I couldn’t help myself.)

This would be funnier if the last panel hadn’t explicitly stated the joke.

Yes, if parents are continually disenchanted by their children’s behavior, maybe they should consider the example they set — or rather, fail to set.

An honest mistake, with the burp and the lack of “Excuse me”? Doubtful, but it still made me laugh. Sorry, Sarah.
Fun details with Eddie’s waving mouth in panel one and Sarah’s [face-palm] in panel three, too.
