Actually, I’m afraid Nathan Hale (or the people who told the story—it doesn’t appear until many years later) was plagiarizing, himself, from Joseph Addison’s “Cato”.                                               What pity is it,That we can die but once, to serve our country!

Personally, I like the “Me gonna go boom” line better. Just sayin’.

Those lemmings seem to be reincarnated very quickly. They are still recognized when they get back. We can’t all say that.
