Some people put sheet metal screws in the bottoms of their shoes or boots. Obviously, they are limited on the length of the screw.

Whether you nail from the inside or outside, it’s kinda hard on shoes.

I’m reminded of the “inherited tap shoes” from the movie “Fame”.

..and if you nail the bottle caps to the bottom of your shoes, be sure to not use LONG nails!
