I love these sunday strips capturing the comic stripsâ /comicbook art-styles of the past. Just pleeeeeezzz donât follow it up with futuristic art-styles. I canât stand Manga or the other crap-styles where every muscle/tendon sticks out and the women have mutated d-size breasts.
I love it! I was surprised to learn that the strip went âsoapâ for a while. But Iâm glad it turned back to humor because I can only stand so much âPrince Valiantâ and âRex Morganâ before I need something to smile about.
Iâve really enjoyed these history strips. I donât think I ever quite realized before how thoroughly a comic strip is âownedâ and then actualized by a succession of artists and writers while the basic characters remain. I know that makes me a comics naif, but it means this has been a very enlightening series.
âRex Morgan, M.D.â, or perhaps âApartment 3-Gâ? I havenât seen either in decades. Dana is really cute in the first panel, and I love Jayâs 70âs hair in the bottom left panel (yeah, I had hair like that then too). But Rita really takes the cake⊠in the bottom right panel, she is actually smiling (in a positive way) about her workersâ personal lives!

invertedyesterday: Do you really believe these things are true or are you being as satiric as these strips?

@pschearer⊠to which âthingsâ are you referring? Whatever is happening with the strip, I am enjoying it. Is that such a bad thing?
