Well, Orion, going by previous performance, yes, I see it as reality. As a woman, I have been horrified and disgusted by turns by the GOP attitudes and just horrified by the TP.

This is a gender issue in our decadent culture more than a political party issue. We just treat each other very poorly much too often.

Most emblematic of the problem is the moderator himself. A man shouldn’t be teaching this session. At the very least, he should have a female co-trainer, preferably one who’s suffered a few of the indignities the class purports to prevent.

Don’t worry about it too much, Clark. Nowadays, younger men with the same attitude offend women early enough that they don’t get dates, don’t get married, and don’t have kids. GOP old-timers are a dying breed. Think of it as them self-chlorinating the gene pool.

Nothing like living in the present, eh Republicans? How pathetic to bring up the Mary Jo Koepechne incident, which happened 44 years ago. Besides this, I am more interested in public policy than what anyone does in his/her personal life. It is the public policy which affects me, as an average person, not whether or not someone had an affair. People in both political parties have had affairs. So what? That doesn’t affect me in terms of my life, it just doesn’t. What Governor Ultrasound does just might affect me. If someone is too insensitive to understand what happens to a woman who gets pregnant as a result of rape and is running for office, that too could affect me, as an average person. Let’s get real here.

Let’s see there are four female Republican governors. How many Democratic governors are women?

Even if you are a female politician, this doesn’t always mean that you will advocate for women. Again, if you are not an advocate for reproductive rights, for example, I am not interested in voting for you, whether you are male or female. I am for Hillary Clinton, but it will be a cold day in hell when I will ever vote for Sarah Palin. The fact that they are both female is most definitely beside the point.

The basic problem is that many don’t know that they are making an ignorant, offensive comment.

I thought that Clark Kent’s comment was ironic.
