In all reality, Gil looks perplexed by the refs explaination in P3. Of course being the first game of the season Gil hasn t made the transition to basketball and its rules yet.
Wynn seems to shoot lefthanded on putbacks, righthanded when he slashes down the lane and lefthanded with his jump shot. Pretty unusual. A decent player will make layups with either hand, but not the variety of shots Wynn is showing. And all this while elbowing opponents in the face.
Referee MacDonald Carey tells Coach Thorp, “Like sands in in the hourglass, these are the days of our lives.” Great Scott Fowler should take young WynnThorp under his wing. Jaybird would be proud. HRRAAKK!
Another classic hand in P3. Good thing the ref only had three fingers amputated, otherwise he couldn’t demonstrate just how close to being flagrant Wynn’s foul was.
So I’m looking at the strip on another site in color and Milford’s unis are black with white lettering. The football unis are predominantly red. What gives?
Wynn is not shooting in P1, he walloped the St. Fabian kid who was shooting. This is a different foul than the elbow from yesterday. All the refs know you have to explain every rule to Gil or he has no idea what is gong on.
Once again, Gil forced into reacting. And only after Wynn has fouled out and the ref has told him what is going on!At least Gil is working on his “stink eye”.

How about a flopping foul for the St. Fabian kid? How did an elbow to the face cause him to kick his leg up like a Rockette?

Wynn came close to pulling a Tony Montana, according to the ref.

My prediction came true. Meanwhile, Sign Man has been transported to the Sirius system by aliens determined to learn more about our marker technology.
