He’s probably just going to make sure they’re restrained when they wake up, so he won’t have to keep a gun trained on them the whole time. I can’t blame the guy. Better safe than sorry.

FreePlay RayGun on stun or kill? I think Wally is about to mutate them, and may find out they are Typhoid Marys. Oh, and he might want to wind up his RayGun quite soon.

During WWII when female Soviet soldiers took prisoners their captives rarely made it to the POW camps.

I suppose it’s fortunate that Wally’s ray gun has a stun setting.

Combine two suggestions, pop their suits, then tie them up.If you tie them up first, the mutation could either loosen or break the binds.

Opening their suits may not be a good idea. Don’t forget, there or “other” mutants then furry anthropomorphic.

I wonder if the lack of an antenna has something to do with it. Could be that the antenna is controlling the topsiders some how.

Don’t worry. In the re-edited version, the Topsiders shot first.

I take it that there’s no question that one of the Topsiders is a female. She has typical Topsiderette vavoom.

Yes, Night-Gaunt49, there is a stun setting. Petey explained it to Wally at the beginning of the rocket/satellite mission. If one widens the beams focus all the way, it will stun. If one focuses the beam to narrowest intensity it is at its most deadly. The fact that Wally was playing with the focus in panel 2 suggests that he was planning to stun them.
