In the BC Age…. (if that’s the Stone age) – women were the gatherers. So it behooved the male to be nice to the female bringing him the fruit, berries, seeds and other veggies to go with the meat..after all – there is a reason women know the difference between periwinkle and robin egg blue. Or red, salmon, pink and blush.
Bronze age? Guess not- since the strip makes constant anachronistc references. Yesterday Peter had an electronic microphone. They make cracks about current politicians and celebrities. BC hasn’t been in the stone age since the very early years.
My brother and I shared a place while going to college.We agreed he would cook and I would wash dishes.“The dishes are still dirty.”“I’m not hungry.”.We UNDERSTOOD shared household responsibilities.
One of us just wasn’t all that good at meeting my those responsibilities.. And then there’s the, “You’re not doing it right, just let me do it.” That’s what really happened.
