So Mysta hasn’t been written off! (A fact sure to boil the blood of some of her haters!)I love all the characters being pulled together for this story – from Mary Perkins to Moon Maid 2.0 (assuming what Diet Smith said about her is true, of course, and considering he lied about the Space Coupe being “blown away” by the storm, who knows what we may yet learn about her!)I can’t wait to see how this is going to tie into Silver Nitrate’s scam!

Almost forgot – great Hall of Fame today! From undercover cop to NBA ref! Love these bios!

Since there exist moon aliens in the Dick Tracy universe, what are the odds that there are other aliens out there in space in the Tracyverse?

Before someone complains (you know who you are) that the story is dragging and we’ve suddenly abandoned the characters from yesterday for a totally different plot, I know that this will tie back into the main plot somehow. We just have to wait to see what will happen. Patience, grasshopper! Good things come to he who waits.

Interesting stuff today…..I still wonder if the Space Coupe entered Jupiter’s Great Red Spot or if they are now orbiting that planet.

What a surprise!

Honeymoon makes a good argument. She’s very wistful in panel 4.I’m wondering….did Mysta Chimera (and Retik and Stellaluna, for that mater) get let in on the fact that Moon Valley was trashed?

An unexpected swerve. Honeymoon continues to impress with her mature attitude, and Junior comes through as a good dad should. But how will the Captain Video Scam and this Mysta-cal interlude come together? Is there an element yet missing, a third major player in the greater arc?

Hmmm, a visit with the same person who took out a tombstone with a sledge hammer and zapped Honeymoon’s Earth mom causing amnesia? Gotta ask, what could possibly go wrong? And thanks Sgt. Jim for another interesting Hall of Fame member. Good choice!

A gibbous moon…The moon is usually shown either as full or a crescent. I like seeing this lunar phase for a change.

Junior handled Honeymoon’s request very well indeed. He gave his daughter what she wanted, while making sure that some responsible adults are on hand to keep things from getting too…interesting (in the Chinese curse connotation).

Sparkle says to Junior: “You’ve been so busy on your new book.” Help me out, please. I cannot remember – what new book? Is this something we as readers are supposed to know about?

“If you’ll recall, last year, Dick, Diet and Honeymoon took a Space Coupe flight to Moon Valley, and they saw the desolation then.”Yes, and recall that they were the only ones in on it. It was decided that they would not tell the people back home, partly because this was an AWOL mission to begin with.I don’t recall any further discussions on the subject, during the times in Diet’s office when it would have fit into the story line.

The dangling plot point about the Space Coupe might get tied up one day, but in the meantime, we have to presume they are dead.
