I like it when Sunday’s comic follows on with the general plot.at least to a degree..Not just old worn out bits like Luann’s parents complaining, etc.

Do you see what Brad is doing? He’s putting his STREET SHOES on the couch. Do you realize how bloody filthy that is? Since Toni is between his legs, his dirty shoes are on both sides of her, putting grit, mud, sand, and old dog-do right on the couch. Wait! Toni is IN HER SHOES, TOO! On the couch! Flat on the couch. Bloody dirt everywhere.

What IS it with Evans — or does he come from a dirty, dirty family? I mean, he had to DRAW the shoes, soles, uppers, and everything. Having them in socks would be easier to draw, and cleaner, too.

Honestly, every time I think I have seen every way in which Evans can demonstrate his protagonists are shallow, nasty, and stupid, he demonstrates something else — in this case, filth!

The one for PS2 has the original “Pong” as the bonus level, once you defeat all of the (ahem) “updated” levels, as of it’s release in the 2000s…

Of course, nothing beats the original pong… – No, not table tennis. it was called: “Go ask your father what he wants for dinner”. There was also a variant- "Mommy says I have permission!’…..

I really like how the character Brad (wish he was real) has a very good attitude towards the tyke. He is good dad material. ’Course we always knew that, even way back when he would play Santa.

At first I noticed that Toni is wearing a necklace. Then I realized that they had changed clothes. When did all this happen? great comic strip.

As far as I can recall, Brad & Toni have not set a definite wedding date (or have they?). Most likely, it will be sometime after Luann’s Graduation Day.

Yeah, that’s the way I felt, too. She seemed to treat her dog better than most people… – I heard she got nicer, once she was treated to a vacation, and visited a lot of “bars” … – No, but really. I heard that once she had that experience, she became a bit more tolerable. She was supposed to have donated to a cause for “9/11”, and for some other causes. And she was reported to be a bit nicer to some people, as well. Even leaving a considerable sum to some in her will, as well. The problem is that in the “station” in life that she enjoyed, as well as her reputation, by the time she was to make any changes, any “reversing” (by human considerations) that she were to undertake would seem to not really change how people perceived her at all, especially in considering the body of reports about her ….

Well, at least Shannon wasn’t “Coat Hangared” by the pro-choice herd, and Toni has enough conviction now in the morals department to keep her legs closed until after the nuptials…however, I would like to see more of our young entrepreneur, T.J. change his attitude toward his taco-truck business and really make a success of it. Might show some teenagers there really is no shame to being successful AND accumulating wealth as well. (Boy, I can just hear the Obama-bots grinding their teeth at that one LOL)

I was talking about DAYIGHT SAVINGS “TAX” . Check the thread, and the convo about where did the “hour” go… that leads to what I responded with. – And, there’s no law that says people don’t get refunds in November. The government issued “stimulus refunds” by name and SS # in 2001,and a few years back. And I have seen some people get it, because of extra refund stimuli passed on a statewide level, as well.

At this point, there seems to be much to anticipate in the coming year— Luann’s Prom Night and Graduation Day are fast approaching. After that, she will begin college with Brad & Toni’s wedding drawing near. There will be developments in her romance with Quill, old classmates will fade away, while new friends will enter her life. I wonder whether anything will change in Frank & Nancy’s life, or if they will slowly recede into the background. Most of all, I am looking forward to what will transpire with Bernice…

Ha ha! – I also forgot to mention that he was also looking for someone… someone named “Mrs. Callabash”.

You know, I can’t help feeling at least a little sorry for Shannon’s dad. He missing the best years of his daughter’s life. I know he’s a jerk and everything, but years from now he’s going to regret it.
