A kid today would think it was unfair to have a TV that small, let alone not being able to watch it. Although I like the way this one jumps up and down when it is on.
If I were the parent, Iād extend the no TV period for as long as Calvin continues to sit in front of the blank TV. :D Letās see how long he can last! So by the end of the week, when Calvin turns on the TV, I go turn it off and say, honey, your no TV period has been extended indefinitely because I see that you have just as much fun watching the blank screen!
Calvinās parents are in violation of the UN convention on the rights of a child. It defines unrestricted access to broadcast media as a basic right of children.
Calvin is watching my favorite network: OFF. I even have a special button for it on my remote.
TV: a noise maker to make buglers think someone is at home.
We leave our TV on when we are out so our dog doesnāt hear every little sound outside. We are careful about the programs he watches. Heās too intelligent for CNN or Fox. Besides the ASPCA would come down on us if we forced him to watch those channels.
TV destroys the brain ā¦; of course, Iām kidding.Everything in moderation, right?NOTE: havenāt been in to comment on any strips in over a few years, but Iām back ā¦. the one & only Comic-Nut.
TV here is never on ā unless thereās an important breaking news story or election results. Thereās enough sitting time right here in front of this computer. Iām off to the treadmill :o)

Back when I was a kid, well, when my father was a kid, everyone would sit around and watch the radio. No kidding.
