Highway of Life Frank: No, Ernie, we're on cruise control. It just SEEMS like we're going faster the further we go.
I’m ready to shut the cruise off get in the slow lane from now on.
I suppose the reason it feels faster the older you bet is because a year is less and less a percentage of your life.
umm.. I don’t want to further any bad habits, but shouldn’t it be the “farther” they go?
as life passes a years takes up less time or your life so yes time really seems faster
Like a roll of toilet paper spinning faster toward the end…
Best slow down and…. don’t ever take a short cut….! ! ! !
You are on a slippery slope, as my Dr. Says to me…
And here I thought it was just my imagi
Interestingly, the Washington Post version uses “farther”!
I always wonder why old people move so slow when they have so little time left. I’d move faster to get more done.
It would be Farther if he was referring to the miles they are driving. It would be Further if he means as they go through life.
As we go on it’s easy to see how inane life contacts can become if we let them……………………..
