That’s not really a San Diego Chargers football uniform that Ox has on… he’s with the electricians’ union….and has a gig with the Power and Utilities Company… He’s now ready to go out into the field… to collect from angry customers… – Quill’s actually in a play called Everything! … it’s a one man show, where he reads aloud stories from the newspaper for everyone… you know, just in case they don’t have the internet…. – I see G-man has earned a Nobel Prize for combined studies.. He helps launch astonauts into space, and he also made sure they “represent” earth well, by making their suits.. That way, Klingons won’t think that “Terrans” aren’t fashion conscious.. That’ll impress the neighbors from Cardassia, too! – And, of course Knute will land a gig on “Sesame Street”… here he is demonstrating the letter "Z"…..

“I think wearing a current team uniform might be a costly permission..” ^Actually, around here, It’s customary for everyone to wear Ravens’ jerseys on what we call “Purple Friday”. From Grocery Store Clerks to Hospital Staff, to just about anyone. And it happens from in town, to as far as the fanbase goes (Del, Pa, Va). Even on TV, the news and sports personalities wear their jerseys… also on other days and occasions……. – And when you don’t pay the light bill, there will be plenty of people after you…. with a “Mob mentality”, maybe, even…. starting with the people who live with you, Lol!

“Quill wants to star in either a movie called “Everything…” A friend of mine once wrote a song called “…And Many, Many More!” so when those late night record collection commercials came on, he could claim his song was on there (because they’d commonly list 8 or 10 songs, and add “…And Many, Many More!”)

I like the lads’ dreams. Knute is the punch line, as the others are more or less practical. Oxford probably has a good chance of playing professional sports, though the way the football draft works, he may not get to choose his team. Gunther will have to persuade the Nobel Committee to create an award in math and sewing, since there is no such thing just now. Quill may have that ambition toward stardom, but must realize that very few, no matter how talented, actually attain it (although cheap, ersatz celebrity status is available today for those willing to whore themselves out to the gossip industry and supermarket tabloid press)….

Gunther wants to win the Nobel Prize in Math and Sewing. Sorry, Gunther, but they don’t offer the Nobel Prize in either of those subjects.

And they never will. This award is actually for a single new field called “Math and Sewing”.

Actually in math. Yes.. Sewing.. No. but the boy can dream.

In actuality Quill will do quite well as a character actor. As those type of actors end up with more employment. Rather than always aiming to be a lead.

I offer this Hollywood veteran. He was in “A Few Good Men”1992. Kevin Pollak was the the LT. that followed Demi Moores character around. A great supporting actor.

    Kevin Pollakhttp://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001629/?ref_=tt_cl_t6

He has stayed employed from 1984 and has projects going into 2015.

Though Knute will either be just another guy asking you do you want fries with that or the next fast rising entrepreneur. Considering Crystal is his girl friend. I am betting on the latter.

According to “Sheriff”, we don’t get that kind of exposure here…. as far as “pushing down”, everybody uses their screens and reads in a different manner. It’s not going to affect the order, just more “scrolling”, but this one doesn’t make it so that it’s too, too far down. – I agree it’s “huge”, but really, a flag in theory is going to get them in trouble, when it could have been just an honest mistake, and the simplest thing could be just to post to them and just kindly, tactfully bring it to their attention… and I’ll just say I have reason to believe that it wasn’t intended the way that you think it was. – And I don’t think anyone would be flagging you or admonishing you… but if you don’t feel you should be admonished, (though maybe someone else could probably argue they too have the right to flag anyone they feel is in “violation”, whether truly justified or not ), what about someone else? -

Forgot to mention earlier, NCAA is a group that actually does sue for stuff… Radio Stations and media were being tracked, and were told that they couldn’t say “March Madness”, or even the team nicknames… for instance, they were only permitted to say “University of Colorado”, but couldn’t say “Buffs”, “Buffaloes” or probably even reference “Chip” during the tourney!….

Mathematics’ big prizes are the Abel Medal (bestowed by the King of Norway, and worth about $1M USA) and the Fields Medal (restricted to winners under age 40). The Fields Medal is worth only $15K Canadian, but it carries enormous prestige.
