When will people learn? There’s no such thing as “free”.Everything has a price tag, and if they tell you it’s “free” it just means they’re hiding the price. They know you won’t like it.
Let’s put more people on the government payroll….give more people more benefits…..and tax the heck out of the the working stiff that grew up having a strong work ethic! Love the bumper sticker: “Work is for those that don’t!”
I agree with ‘Doh’. They seem to be able to get a pay raise ‘whenever’ but the rest of us ‘poor slumps’ on SS get at best 2% COLA and they want to refigure how COLA is figured to only allow us 1%. Put Congress under SS and do away with their 100% pension after 1 term also get them into ‘Medicare’ instead of their separate medical plan and a MANDATORY two terms and out. Being a congressperson was not meant to be a LIFETIME occupation ! ! !
Because you have to pay for the First Lady and President to take “non-political” trips and take along the kids, mother, secretary, etc. Just because they have been on one in a couple of weeks.

Pay ceiling on Senators and Reps pay. Cut the cost of Gov’t,till they work for us{US}.

studies have shown that taxing the poor yields little revenue. Ya have to go where the money is.
