Lucky rounds second, and — pauses for an impromptu game of Twister.

Is the game over? Milford was the visiting team, so Lucky shouldn’t be wearing a batting helmet if the game just ended — unless Milford lost, that is. Very bad form to be so happy with individual stats after a loss. Or maybe Lucky wears the helmet in the field because he’s such a klutz.

Chip, Lucky always wears a helmet for the bus ride home. That way he won’t hurt himself. He usually wears his helmet to the Bucket as well.

As Kaz gives a high five, Lucky’s oversized left fist is poised to smash into Kaz’s ribcage. That’ll teach the coach to stop lingering by the showers after practice.

It looks to me like someone threw a batting helmet and hit Lucky in the head as he rounded second base. Pretty impressive throw to get a head shot on a moving target.

A triple double. That’s impressive in baseball and basketball. Without the belly flop, of course.

I don’t get it. Lucky was given the 3B job by default it seemed, and the coaches were dreading it. Now he’s practically the league MVP. Luckily, Mopped Up Thorp is here to set things straight.

I think Neal’s showing his age. Something about these two was bothering me. It isn’t Lucky and Amy! It’s Rootie Kazootie and Polka Dottie!! Someone’s got Post Traumatic Cartoon syndrome and is suffering from Flashbacks

Kaz will hope that rubbing on Lucky’s head will bring him some luck!

I’m probably reading this wrong. But if he gets tagged out trying for 3rd, does that count as a double?

In all reality, does anyone use the term Dude anymore unless you re refering to a Dude Ranch ?
