    (1) It helps you work off your agressions. And the same goes for the other 9 reasons.

I caddied when I was young. That cured me of the desire to play golf. There was one foursome everyone called the Iron Curtain because they would never let anyone play through.

Grown people walking around in funny clothing whacking a little ball with a stick. I donā€™t get it. I also donā€™t get two groups of men fighting over an oval ball, or two groups of men taking turns swinging at a ball one of them throws. I DO get the point of tossing a ball through a ring, but two groups of adult men racing around grabbing at the ball, essentially playing keep-away until someone pops the ball through the ring escapes me. Ditto chasing a Hostess Cupcake on ice, then fighting over it. But thatā€™s just fine. People who DO ā€œgetā€ those things most likely donā€™t ā€œgetā€ the things I like, either! Weā€™re all different.

Duffer #1- ā€œyouā€™re problem is obviousā€ Duffer #2- ā€œok what is it?ā€ Duffer #1- ā€œyouā€™re standing too close to the ball after you hit it!ā€

I donā€™t fish and I donā€™t golf. Is there any point to retiring?

    1) A Bad Day of Golf is better than a good day at work; 2) I get some exercise (If I donā€™t drive a cart); 3) If you time the yelling of ā€˜foreā€™ just right, you can still hit people with the ball and get away with it; 4) I get to explore the woods frequently; 5) I also get to play in the sand, just like at the beach; 6) When Iā€™m not in the woods or the sand, I get to try out a new ball to replace the one I put in the water; 7) I get to laugh at my friends who golf just like I do; 8) Sometimes it helps me figure out how well my blood pressure medication works; 9) I get to enjoy being out in the sun; 10) It beats doing housework.

Donkey Hoteyā€¦ohhhh youā€™re right! Itā€™s more like a Ding Dong! I LOVE teasing people about their games. And the first Frisbee was a pie plate tossed by college students. Brand of pieā€¦Frisbee! LOLā€¦Nope, donā€™t go to gatherings, outings or reunions. Do go for walks and to museums. Itā€™s a good thing we are all different, or weā€™d all be in the same place all doing the same thing at the same time. I love the kaleidoscope we all make up! Iā€™d prefer a nice long horseback ride to a game of tennis. My best friend gardens.

Makes one wonder why so much TV time is wasted on it.Itā€™s more agonising watching them ā€˜playā€™ than to actually do it.

Fresh air. Thatā€™s what you get. And depending upon where the course isā€¦. trying not to disturb the bears out by the water hazard, or the rattlesnake in the sand trap. And donā€™t forget the squirrel that tries to steal your ball. .See. Lots of fresh air.
