And vote for Doc Rat
Chic and Ben need moral support. Vote for them. And check out Level_Headâs other links too. Itâs always good to support your artists, anyway you can.
Ya know, if GoComics had smilies like Doc Rat has in Jennerâs forum , both of which support Endtown and GoComics with links to here, I would be bowing down to, and applauding Level_Head and Jenner for their brilliance. I just, ahem, BORROWED Lou Reedâs fire and light. Son et Lumiere ?, White Light, White Heat?, and Transformed it a little. All brilliance here is not mine. Really Sincerely and Respectfully, JusSayin
One of the bright spots of my morning, after Endtown, is reading the comments from the folks here. Poetry, puns, and the clever speculation on Aaronâs plans.
So this is civilized justice. A veiled threat and call to loyalty when considering this situation. This next fight âtrialâ will be a call for Chic to decide his future.
Aaron keeps painting the lizards darker and darker. Including Sarah. At what point are we supposed to give up hope on them?.Likely, âChic,â whatever his real name is, will join our little band. But will Sarah stay behind? Or will she be ejected, too?.After all, the other lizards seem to blame her for the behavior of her âcharges.â.And Iâm still trying to figure out what Sarah meant last week, when Wally and Phil were being carried out, she said âFreaks!â.Curious.
Let us hope that Chic decides to help the outsiders escapeâŠand go with them.âŠAnd to Level_Head, Jenner, and all the creative minds who make this commentary worth readingâŠ.KEEP ON WRITING!!!
HmmmâŠsince Chic has connections that try to protect him then maybe there is a faction within the lizards not on board with how they do things. And if there is such a faction, maybe, just maybe they might be the ones to help our band of wayfaring misfits out of their current jam.
Ugh, didnât expect to be commenting on this strip so soon. This morning, my contract shop rep called me into an office and said that I was being let go. Iâve been out of work for a year and my CATIA (a form of computer drafting) skills are rustier than Spirit Aerosystems is willing to tolerate. I just feel worn out and let down.
True. I <3 bearded dragons. There were nice, and even pleasantly emotional lizards in Endtown. They werenât featured much, but then, no species really took the we-outnumber-everybody stance except for the rats. And here itâs the lizards. (Why are there no variations in lizard types, like there have been variations in cat types? Even the nice lizards in Endtown resembled these lizards physically.) Beyond the gargantuan stalagmites and haunting all of Endtown, it was the plastic-coated humans. Notice the correlation in height between humans and these lizards.
So what weâre seeing, then, is a modern-day strip of âAnimal Farmâ. In that story, the pigs who took control were fur-less, like the humans before them.
Fantastic facial expressions, and cuteness too!
Basically, weâre reminded that power corrupts. And that fear in the masses allows the already-corrupt to take power, further corrupting the corruptibility of power. (Say that 5 times fast.)
I donât see these lizards (reptiles) as that bad. They have their community and it is set up a certain way. How and why have not been determined but they are what they are. No one has the right to make them change just because you disagree with it. If that was possible we could change China into a full democracy and we all know THAT is not going to happen. There is a lot about this place we nor Sarah, Jim, Wally, or Holly know about. They act with a lot of restraint considering they could have just killed Jim, Wally, and Holly and accepted Sarah. Instead they take them in (took everything they hadâŠ..) as would any one else coming into their area of operations. Spies, villians, thieves??? They have to check. The one thing is certain Sarah has been given responsibility over Jim, Wally, and Holly although she does not know why. I donât think she likes the responsibility but it is a path she will approaching.Right now first thingsâŠ..get some foodâŠ..some restâŠâŠ..quietly ask some questionsâŠâŠthis lizard at the door may be able to answer some questions IF asked correctly. He may not be able to answer all till a decision is reached but any information is better than none.

Chic the chicken. Works for me.
Melkior almost 11 years ago
It might be a nickname.
Methinks whoever said that Wallyâs little party is going to gain a new member was probably correct.
The question now is, what do they have to go through before that happens?

Chicâs connection may be that he is related to one of the lizards but ostracized because he mutated differently.
