Wow! Chris Chendo really knew his business! Is that Tracy lying on the ground? I thought he was inside with the Ambassador, Tucker, Hillary Clinton, George Bush, et al.

And how come Nancy Pelosi wasn’t in there????

That’s what you saw. Others among us saw a real pig on wheels. margueritem has one to prove it! Flight Suit had one, too! And now, the pig on wheels is appearing on Antiques Road Show! He’s famous! Arnold is jealous.

The pig on wheels may have been the only thing in the circus that was worth the bother. Dick Tracy screaming in a tiger’s cage sure wasn’t worth much.

About waterproof bombs: I don’t know about this one, but I’ve seen it before. Way back in the days of my mis-spent youth, my next-door neighbor made illegal fireworks. One day, he dropped a “Silver Salute” into a five-gallon pail of water, weighted with a flashlight battery to make it sink. The device exploded and the pail leaped a couple of feet into the air before coming back down, decidedly the worse for wear. So, yes, it can happen.

Does this mean the concert is canceled?

I see the Pig on Wheels as a form of PROTEST by the helpless. A SHOW of disrespect ,,, a looking AWAY from what the Authors deem as “important”, for fairly measured, it’s really a sad form of drivel we contend with most every day.

Most here have enjoyed this strip from the were children and still hold great “memories”.

Cease reading it you say ?

NO! That would score a triumph for incompetence by the Authors who also (as kids) enjoyed the “highs” it once reached and should now feel the shame of … a Dick Tracy ZERO !

Why? An occasional “dignified” Pig reference (may to some?), even seem like an appropriate “FLoooooMM” reminder - of their hot AIR from the pigs - ”you know where !”

The great detective has inadvertently found a new way to kill the algae in a swimming pool.

The bomb wasn’t on a timer, so what set it off? FLOOOM??? Everyone out of the pool!!!

I thought the bomb was supposed to explode when a high “C” was played?

Ohh I get it.. the strip is the bomb… and btw the Pig On Wheels (POW) sightings seem to be more interesting than the strip that is moving forward at the speed of a glacier….. they should have drug it out a little more.. they could have done the FOOOM!! on 4th of july…

Such a waste of a good Strad. Couldn’t they have used a cheap imported Strad look-alike?

Not too impressive a pool. It would have been funny if Macy wasted the Strad, when the C-4 was inside the cello. Liz(z) would have a hard time paying for that one.

I enjoy the pig on wheel sightings too - best part of today’s strip.

I’m assuming the bomb was set off by the piercing, “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE” by the unnamed woman from the other day (Tess?). How the sound went down the hall and though glass windows to a violin that the other day WASN’T in Tracy’s hands is beyond me.

Make a note of the spelling – 5 Os and 2 Ms: FLOOOOOMM! Add it to your spellcheck dictionaries.

rshive, - That’s a valid point. The Strad and it’s destruction wasn’t needed, just placing the bomb IN the violin that went to the Embassy was all that was necessary

Even the old Batman show didn’t have Flooooomm. They’re really on the cutting edge with this story.

Tracy did indeed previously throw the Strad in the pool. Today he’s rounding up all the other violins and throwing them in the pool for good measure. Can’t be too careful, after all. Where there’s one exploding violin, there are probably more.

Yes, he threw the Stradivarius in on Thursday, so this must be some other violin. At least he isn’t throwing electric guitars in the water – that could create an electrical hazard.

I’ll have to remember that sound effect the next time I throw an exploding violin into a pool.

One good thing: the water would slow any shrapnel from the instrument, so the danger from wood splinters is lessened. (Serious danger, during naval engagements in the days of wooden ships many men died from splinter wounds when cannonballs tore their ships apart.)

For $2 Million, Virgil could have gotten a cruise missle and demo’ed the entire building.

Punjab and The Asp have been spotted fishing at their favorite lake.

And that just happens to be LAKE TITICACA!!! they have no intentions of coming back anytime soon.

While dipping into Lake Titicaca’s treasures, they came across the “Pig on Wheels”. It has been teleported BACK to the Dick Tracy strip.

I will now go take my medication and let my brain heal.
