    We ditched cable in 2008 and finally got rid of the TV in 2012. Have not missed them, ever!

    Kids today just don’t realize how lucky they are Their older cousins used to suffer along with just 150 channels, and no control over when they showed things!

    Cable used to be wonderful, but since the 2010s, everything has gone downhill and nobody cares anymore. Bad lineups, greedy executives, endless marathons, reruns becoming a dead medium and streaming came along.

    And cable used to be commercial free. I cut the cord and never looked back.Get about 40 broadcast channels, plus broadband internet covers about everything.

    Surprised he doesn’t have Fox News on all day only… I know several seniors who aren’t even aware that there are other channels…
